The chamber membrane Filter Press was the first machine used in chemical dehydration. Because of its advantages such as large filtration driving force, high solid content of the filter cake, clear filtrate, high solid recovery rate, and low consumption of conditioning chemicals, it is widely used in many wastewater treatment projects.
Product structure and working principle
The chamber membrane Filter Press is a separation mechanism which integrates mechanical, electrical and hydraulic system. It is make up of five parts: frame part, filter pack (filter plate, diaphragm plate, filter cloth), plate shifting system, hydraulic station and electrical control cabinet.
● Frame part
The frame part is skeleton of the machine, which is used to support the filter mechanism and connect all components. It is made up of thrust plate assembly, pressing plate assembly, oil cylinder seat and side bars.
● Filter pack
1. (Non- membrane membrane Filter Press does not have the function of membrane squeezing) The filter pack is composed of filter plates and membrane plates(for membrane membrane Filter Press only) arranged in order, as well as filter cloth attached to each plate. Between the filter plates, an independent filter unit - filter chamber is formed. At the beginning of filtering, the slurry is pushed by the feeding pump and enters each chamber through the thrust plate, and is filtered under the pressure generated by feeding pump. The solid remains in the filter chamber to form a filter cake, and the filtrate is discharged through the nozzle or the outlet valve. If the filter cake needs to be washed, the washing water can be introduced through the washing port on the thrust plate ; If the filter cake with low moisture content is required, the compressed air can be introduced from the washing port to pass through the filter cake layer to take away part of the moisture in the filter cake.
●Hydraulic station
The hydraulic station is the power device for pressing or loosening the filter packs ,which is equipped with a plunger pump and various control valves. Push the "closing" button, the motor start and push the piston rod forward ,thus the filter pack clamps; When the pressure rises to the upper limit of pressure gauge, the pump stops; meantime, the membrane Filter Press enters pressure maintaining state automaticly; When the pressure drops to the lower limit, the plunger pump will restarts to ensure the working pressure as specified. Push the "opening" button, the motor start, the filter pack open.
● Electrical cabinet
The electrical cabinet is the control center of the whole system.
