Multiple Effect Vacuum Evaporator

Multiple Effect Vacuum Evaporator (MEE) system refers to multiple single-effect evaporators connected together to realize the reuse of waste heat according to the principle of different boiling points of water under different pressures. The types are: multi-effect falling film evaporator, multi-effect forced circulation evaporator, multi-effect rising film evaporator, multi-effect external circulation evaporator, multi-effect central circulation evaporator, multi-effect combined evaporator, etc. That is, parallel flow, counter-current flow, cross-flow, and choose different technological processes according to the characteristics of different materials.

Multiple Effect evaporation system energy-saving principle: the generated steam as a heat source enters the first-effect evaporator of the multi-effect evaporator. Similarly, heat is supplied from the previous effect to the latter effect. The second steam of the last effect enters the condenser, is directly or indirectly condensed by the circulating cooling water, and the waste heat is repeatedly used to achieve the effect of energy saving.

-Power consumption per ton of water evaporation can be as low as 1.5 kWh;

-The more the number of effects is, the less the steam consumption is. For the comprehensive comparison of investment and energy saving, the number of effects is 3-5, which is the most reasonable;

-Fully automatic control, high degree of automation, easy operation, unattended;

-Different materials can be selected, including stainless steel, titanium, nickel-based alloy, graphite, etc. to effectively prevent material from corrosion;
