The drum dryer is a kind of internal heating conduction type rotary continuous drying equipment. The rotating drum passes through the material trough at the bottom, middle or top of the drum, adheres to a certain thickness of material film, heats the outer wall of the drum through the heat carrier, and then conducts to the material film, so that the moisture in the material film evaporates quickly, dehumidifies, and is discharged through the induced draft fan. The dried material is scraped off the drum by the scraper device, and then the dry material is transported out by the screw conveyor.

2.Features
◆Because the drum adopts internal conduction direct heating, the thermal efficiency is high. All the heat is used for the evaporation of the moisture content of the drum film, and the thermal efficiency can reach 80% ~ 90%.
◆By adjusting the feed concentration, the thickness of the film, the temperature of the medium, the speed of the drum, etc., the drying efficiency of the drum dryer can be changed to adapt to the drying of various materials and different production requirements.
◆The drying cycle of the material is generally only 10~15 seconds, and the drying speed is fast.
◆Because the film applied to the drum wall is very thin, generally 0.3~1.5mm, the surface of the film can maintain an evaporation rate of 10~50kg.H20/m?.h.
◆Single drum or double drum form can be designed according to requirements; there are inner drum type or jacket type heating structure: the materials are stainless steel, cast steel, carbon steel chrome plating, etc.;
◆Steam or thermal oil heating form can be selected.
◆Different material distribution structures are used according to material characteristics; there are upper scraping or lower scraping methods; the scrapers are flexible scrapers or hard scrapers, and the adjustment methods are manual or pneumatic structures.
◆Optional accessories such as feeding pumps, agitators, discharging machines, dust collectors, washing towers, etc. are selected according to requirements.
3.Application fields
It is suitable for drying liquid or viscous materials in industries such as chemical, dye, pharmaceutical, food, wastewater, yeast, etc.
